Oakland Pole + Dance

Just a few steps from Lake Merritt’s grassy lawns, step into our gorgeous pole and movement space. Two rooms with dark wood floors and high ceilings arching overhead, lit by soft natural light filtering in through skylights and frosted windows. Our second Bay Area studio’s gorgeous space hosts a thriving community of friendly, welcoming dancers.

  • We are located on street level on Grand Ave, in between Perkins St and Staten Ave. The studio is next to the UPS store - look for our big sign or the studio logo on our glass front door.

    When you arrive please knock on the door to be let into the building. If you are arriving for solo training, check your email for a door code.

    During class times, our Front Desk team or an instructor will help get you settled and ready for class.

  • There is metered street parking on Grand Ave and residential parking in the neighborhood behind the studio (turn up Perkins or Staten). Please be aware of all parking signs and restrictions and don’t leave anything in your car. Give yourself plenty of time to find parking including on weekends as Lake Merritt is always very busy. Sometimes you’ll need to drive up 3-4 blocks up the hill behind the studio to find parking during busy times.

  • Fly Space in Oakland 366 has 45mm stainless steel Platinum Stages poles. Flow Space has 45mm stainless steel Xpoles. All our poles are hypoallergenic.

    In Oakland 362, both Fly and Flow have 14ft 45mm stainless steel Platinum Stages poles at a competition-standard 8ft apart.
